Jagoran APC, Ahmed Tinubu Ya Ce Ya Yi Kuskuren Cewa Wa'adin

APC Chieftain, Ahmed Bola Tinubu

A senior member of the All Progressives Congress (APC) and one who has declared his intention to run for the presidency, Bola Ahmed Tinubu, said he was wrong to mention that the term of the permanent voting card, PVC, is expiring.

A statement from Tinubun's press office said the leader had mistakenly mentioned the word expire instead of saying, "maybe the card needs to be renewed."

The announcement followed a martini received by Tinubun, in which the National Electoral Commission (INEC) denied that the card's term was expiring.

INEC says anyone with a voter registration card does not need to renew it as the expiration date of the card does not expire.

In the video, Bola Tinubu is seen telling his supporters that the authorities may not have informed them that the voting card deadline has expired.

This is not the first time Tinubun has spoken out, and it has not been erased. In 2021, he was quoted as saying that he needed to recruit 50 million youths in the Nigerian security forces to tackle the security crisis in the country. , but he later said he made a mistake meaning 50,000, after his remarks raised dust.
